We welcome you to the Gamebox Festival LAN with a variety of tournaments in major games such as Counter-Strike and League of Legends. The LAN tournaments offer plenty of competition between all participants and exciting prizes for everyone to compete for. Show up with your teammates or find a team on the day. NPH (Netparty Herning) is responsible for the administration of the tournaments.

Once you have purchased your LAN ticket, all LAN tournaments at Gamebox Festival are free to enter.

The format explained

The format will remain the same as at Gamebox Festival 2024, as it was a great success, and we want to replicate that in 2025.
What’s different this year is that teams can register for Gamebox Casual, the C-tournament, from the very beginning. If that happens, we will expand the tournament to ensure the additional teams can participate.

Friday

The matches begin Friday evening, with all 64 participating teams starting in Gamebox Masters, the A-tournament, and fighting to stay in the competition. The top 32 teams after three rounds on Friday continue in the A-tournament, while the remaining teams will move on to compete in Gamebox Open, the B-tournament.

Saturday

Day two of Gamebox Festival features continued matches in the A-tournament, while both the B- and C-tournaments begin and conclude on Saturday.
At 10:00, both Group A (A-tournament) and Group B (B-tournament) start with a GSL group stage. From each tournament, 16 teams progress to the playoffs. The 16 losers from the A-tournament continue into Group B’s playoffs, joining the 16 winners from the B-tournament group stage.
The 16 losers from the B-tournament’s GSL group stage move on to this year’s Gamebox Casual tournament, Gamebox C.

In Gamebox Masters (A-tournament), the round of 16 and quarterfinals will also be played on Saturday.
Gamebox Open and Gamebox Casual are completed on Saturday, with all playoff matches in these tournaments being best-of-one (bo1), except for the finals, which are best-of-three (bo3).
The winners in these two tournaments will be crowned on Saturday.

Sunday

Sunday marks the final day of Gamebox Festival 2025, where the winner of this year’s prestigious Gamebox Masters tournament will be decided. The semifinals begin at 10:00, and everything culminates at 14:00 with the Gamebox Masters final, where the first prize of 40,000 DKK is at stake.
