What can you experience at Gamebox Festival?
At Gamebox Festival you can have fun with your friends and family. You can also meet others who share your interest in gaming and form new friendships.
There are also plenty of opportunities to acquire new knowledge about gaming and the gaming world. Both as a gamer and as a parent of a gamer child.
Gamebox Festival consists of a festival area with activities and a LAN. And what is a LAN? LAN stands for Local Area Network - a local network where several computers are connected to the same data connection.
You bring your own computer (or console) to play on throughout the event. This is also called "byoc", which stands for "bring your own computer/console".
How do I participate with my child?
Do you have a gamer child who wants to go to Gamebox Festival? Then there are various options for how you as a parent can participate. Your child can only attend the LAN alone if they can take care of themselves. There is no age limit for LAN or Gamebox Festival. It is up to the parents to decide when the child is old enough.
