Get ready for LAN
On this page, we have gathered all practical information about LAN participation at Gamebox Festival 19-21 April 2024, including information about food, sleeping spot, shower facilities, etc.
In 2023, LAN took place in Hall J & K.
On arrival at MCH Messecenter Herning
Here you will find information about access, drop-off of equipment and parking, as we get closer to the festival.
There is access to the LAN halls from Friday at 15:00.
Ticket/wristband
Bring your ticket either printed or on your mobile.
Your LAN seat is written on the ticket.
The ticket has to be shown and scanned on arrival. Afterwards you will receive a wristband to be worn throughout the festival. It gives you access to the LAN area and the sleeping area in addtion to the festival area.
Normal day tickets do not give access between the LAN tables, but ticketholders have the opportunity to enter the halls and experience the LAN atmosphere.
Your seat
Your LAN seat information is written on your ticket.
At your seat, you will find a LAN cable and a power socket ready for use.
There are stacks of regular chairs at the end of each row of tables. However, you are welcome to bring your own chair if you prefer.
Sleeping and bathing facilities
The sleeping spots are located in a separate hall. Sleeping spots are allocated on arrival.
There is concrete floor in the halls, so remember to bring a sturdy sleeping mat, air mattress or similar. The halls are heated and there will be night lighting during night hours.
With a LAN ticket you have access to free shower facilities/changing rooms in connection with the LAN sleeping areas. Remember to bring your own towel and such.
Eating and shopping options
There is a 24-hour kiosk in Hall J3 where you can buy food, sweets, soft drinks and snacks.
During Gamebox Festival's official opening hours you can find places to eat in the different halls and outside.

Purchase catering for LAN
When you buy your LAN ticket, you have the option to purchase the package below, if you want to secure some catering already from home.

Fried chicken with curried vegetables
Rice, raw vegetable salad, bread and butter
Juice and ice water
Breakfast Saturday 7:00 - 11:00
Coffee/tea, bread, yoghurt, muesli, milk, juice, cheese, cold cuts, jam & butter
Dinner Saturday 17:30 - 21:00
Spicy roast pork loin fillet with baked root vegetables
Mince steaks with peas and béarnaise sauce
Creamed potatoes, green salad, bread and butter
Juice and ice water
Breakfast Sunday 7:00 - 11:00
Coffee/tea, bread, yoghurt, muesli, milk, juice, cheese, cold cuts, jam & butter
Scrambled eggs and bacon
Serving: Buffet and everyone cleans up after themselves
Upon arrival at Gamebox Festival, you will be given a wristband that must be presented at the various meals as proof that you have purchased the meal ticket.
