RECORD-BREAKING EDITION OF GAMEBOX FESTIVAL IN THE MAKING

Denmark's already biggest gaming event is getting even bigger this year - Gamebox Festival is expanding with an extra hall, offering 10 halls packed with everything gaming-related for gamers of all ages and levels. The festival, which includes both a festival and Denmark's largest LAN party, will take place at MCH Messecenter Herning from 25-27 April 2025.

Visitors can look forward to an experience with everything in gaming, esports and related fan cultures when Gamebox Festival opens its doors for the fourth time at the end of the month. The three-day event will feature everything from dedicated exhibitors to exciting show battles and celebrity gamers as well as youtubers and other content creators.

True to tradition, the festival also includes Denmark's largest LAN party, which sold out all 2,200 seats back in February.

All in all, tickets for Gamebox Festival are in high demand again this year, and itm8 is delighted to be one of the festival's main partners.

Esports association: The highlight of the year
Another key player at the Gamebox Festival is Sørby Esport, which organises a number of fun and exciting activities for both new and experienced gamers. The esports association has been involved since the beginning, and the commitment has not diminished over the years.

Prominent news
Gamebox Festival has several exciting new features on the agenda this year - not least the Nordic Card Show, Northern Europe's largest card fair where collectors buy, sell and swap in a family-friendly environment. The show embraces a wide range of different cards such as basketball cards, football cards, Disney, Magic and Pokémon cards.

In addition, a number of prominent brands are participating in the Gamebox Festival for the first time, including LEGO, Normal and Arla. At the former's stand, visitors can play LEGO Fortnite, help build a gaming mosaic of LEGO bricks and participate in building competitions. Normal will have a shop with unique products that are perfect for a gaming weekend, and Arla will be ready with all kinds of fun activities.

Returning favourites
In addition, this year's Gamebox Festival also offers a reunion with a large number of favourites from previous editions of the festival - first and foremost, the Jyske Bank Main Stage is again a central part of the festival. Here, an entertaining programme awaits, including Elgiganten's ultra-popular giveaways - Elgiganten will once again be there with a large store.

The stars from Astralis will also be back at the festival, which will also feature the Esport League championships, among many other things.

All in all, Gamebox Festival is once again this year a paradise for anyone with even the slightest penchant for gaming - and according to the management, this is entirely in the spirit of the festival.
